Criminal justice degree for FBI?

I knew two guys from my law cl who after obtaining their JDs joined the FBI. But their Bachelors where in History and Political Science, federal law enforcement agencies desire to have agents who are mentally capable of handling complex matters. Although most law enforcement agencies do want candidates with backgrounds in accounting and law they will screen anyone who meets their qualifications. My cousin is an IRS Criminal Investigator and her degree is in public administration, same with her husband who is an Air Marshal. You can have any degree and still meet the educational requirement of most federal law enforcement agencies.
