If my bestfriend and i fight alot should i still become friends with her?

I had a friend like that too. She used 2 always lie about stuff and weneva she had arguments wiv ova ppl she use to get me and my other friends involved by sayin oh she said this n that bou u.. Wen we askd they sed no. We gt fed up so one day we confronted her in a friendly way, she was speechless and upset 4 about a week and then afterwards she became a whole new loyal person and more honest. I think u and ur friends shud talk 2 her bcoz ppl learn from their mistakes and she myt feel remorse.
