Head transplant/aging question?

Most of the body's tissues aculate irreparable damage as we age. Just transplanting the heart would not reverse the damage to the rest of the body. Similarly, transplanting the brain (still not possible, and has NOT been done in animals; the spinal cord can't be reconnected) would not reverse the aging of the brain - you'd have a 20 year old body with an 80 year old brain and all that brain's problems. The body would live on a long time, but the brain would continue to deteriorate.
