Jason Michael Carrol "Hurry Home"?

Does "Hurry Home" by Jason Michael Carrol remind anyone else of "Austin" by Blake Shelton? They're both about an estranged loved one that calls home thinking that the person won't want them any more, and hears I still love you on the answering machine. They're very similar, except one's about the guy's daughter, and other one's about his girlfriend/wife. Am I the only one who's thought of this?
