Why is he acting this way? Jealousy?

I have been seeing someone (almost 2 mos) that I am *very* attracted to (no committment but it's *hot* between us). One of my good friends (male) who I thought never really showed any ual attraction to me (that was serious anyway) is really screwing w/my mind. He is angry (tho won't admit it) that I'm w/the other guy. Now suddenly he is making all kinds of ual remarks/innuendos about he & I being together. I really want to con't being his friend but he is acting really strange & making me angry. He called to "report" to me (left on vc mail) that he saw "my new man" at the club where we all met last nite with another woman. I don't want to act suspicious w/New Man b/c we do not have a committment but if he was w/another woman, want to know. What's up w/my friend? Why is he being so jealous & hateful now when b4, he didn't even seem to care? How do I handle this?
