Severe anxiety and getting nowhere?

This is going to sound simplistic but it works for sure. I have named it "thank you therapy". Just start thanking God(or higher power, or who or what you choose) for everything; every situation, every material thing, on and on. I read years ago that you cannot be depressed and thankful at the same time. I found it to be very, very true. It brought me out of depression years ago and I still use it every time I start to go downhill. You have to be thankful for all things and cirstances, positive or negative. At first it will seem ridiculous, but slowly and surely you will change. Example; be thankful that you have a fear of death. I wish you the best.
