Night elf druid or hunter?

Ok so i have a lvl 42 druid and a lvl 10 hunter. my druid is pretty cool, thing is i usually lose in duels and i hate it cause most of druids attacks are powerless compard to other cles. i have a lvl 10 night elf with a raptor, i like him for the pet and i heard their pretty good but idk which i should keep working on. help?
