How should I train my kitten not to attack me randomly?

my kitten Gizmo is very hyper,he can't keep still after he's done eating. So anyways he always jumps on me and i manage to get him off but then he pounces back on me. whether it's my feet,my arm/hand,or my knees. and his claws are very sharp so i have a lot of scratches from him on my arm and hand especially.is there a way to train him to not attack me? and by the way its not in a violent way he's playing but its hurts so bad! and it looks like i'm cutting myself from all of the scrathes! please help me because the only way i can stop him is by i grab him from the back of his neck like thier moms do then put him down. he stops for awhile then goes back to doing it.
