Can i use my old amp on my w3 10' to a 12' cvx?

i have a amp.. i dont know the voltage yet i just bought the truck and this set up came with it, it has alpine speakers with a 10 inch jl w3 under the seat with a little amp powering it. it was all professionally tuned and messed with and sounds good but i want more bump. i wanna beat the block down ahah. so i wanna know if i turned up the voltage on the amp could it power a bigger sub. a 12' cvx boxed sitting on top of the seats. its a mono alpine amp
